Connemara Chamber launched the hugely exciting ‘WINAHOMEINCLIFDEN.COM’ raffle in April and it’s proving to be a great success with tickets sold across the country and around the world.
The lucky winner this August will receive keys to a stunning 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom luxurious duplex apartment on Ireland’s iconic Wild Atlantic Way. The apartment boasts breathtaking views of Clifden harbour and the surrounding countryside from your own private balcony.
Tickets are on sale online but also at our WIN A HOME IN CLIFDEN ticket office situated in the heart of the town next to the award winning E J Kings bar and restaurant. The Connemara Chamber will also be on location selling tickets at different venues around the city and county in the coming weeks. Come find us at the Connemara Pony Sales this weekend and the Galway Shopping Centre and Kavanagh’s SuperValu in Clifden at the end of the month.
We’ve also had a number of well known faces visit the ticket office in recent weeks supporting the draw including top broadcaster Ryan Tubridy and John Connolly TD for Galway West. Even TV personality and author Timmy Mallett who was cycling and staying around Connemara for the past few weeks stopped by.
Throughout the campaign there are a number of bonus draws including wonderful hotel breaks, extra tickets and packages to this year’s hurling and football finals. Bonus draw 1 included a two night stay in the beautiful Win A Home In Clifden apartment plus dinner & wine on both evenings as well as 10 extra tickets for the draw. The winner was Sheena Gawel from Canada. Bonus prize 2 was won by Francis O’Reilly from Dundalk in County Louth. He won a two night stay at the award winning Ballynahinch Castle Hotel plus dinner and 10 extra tickets.
