The “Win a Home in Clifden” draw does not cover all costs associated with the new apartment owner. The winner will be directly responsible for all costs associated with the transfer of ownership, including:

  • Winner’s Solicitor’s fees
  • Stamp Duty
  • Registration expenses
  • Any other related taxes or costs

Additionally, the winner will be responsible for any annual Residential Charges (e.g., management fees, local property tax) associated with the apartment from the date of transfer. 

The winner shall be responsible for the payment of an annual management fee associated with the apartment, which is currently €1,600.00. This fee is subject to review and adjustment by the management company.

As a guide, the current Local Property Tax (LPT) for this type of property is €465 per annum.
